**Questions? Short Notice Booking? Contact Frankie Via Text or Call
**If you are intending to visit my spa PLEASE read through these policies**
MASKS: Everyone needs to wear a mask over their mouth and nose during their time at my Spa. Please bring your own mask if possible; if not you’ll be given a disposable mask to wear. This is non-negotiable. Thanks for being cool about it.
HAND SANITIZER: You’ll be given a squirt upon arrival and we’ll sanitize together in a germ-free bonding ritual.
INTAKE QUESTIONNAIRE: I know paperwork is annoying, but you’ll have a brief COVID-19 questionnaire to fill out upon every visit until the pandemic is well behind us. The clipboard and pen will be disinfected after every use.
TEMPERATURE: As part of your intake, we’ll take your forehead temperature using a touch-free thermometer. If your temperature is above 100.4 degrees you’ll need to reschedule your appointment (and I highly suggest you talk to your doctor).
CANCELLATIONS: Before COVID-19 changed the way we did things, I had a strict 48 hour cancellation policy. This policy still exists for reasons like you “just don’t feel like showing up” or you “forgot that (you) were scheduled to spend eighteen months on the International Space Station”. HOWEVER, if you have any COVID-19 symptoms AND/OR if you have been in contact with someone who was exhibiting symptoms and/or tested positive for COVID-19 within the two weeks preceding your appointment YOU MUST CANCEL YOUR APPOINTMENT. In addition, symptomatic or not, if you have tested positive for COVID-19 AT ANY POINT IN TIME, you must test negative at the time of your appointment to come in. If any of these situations apply to you, please contact Frankie ASAP and you will not be charged a cancellation fee.
Other Items Of Note
My existing model of working on one client at a time in a private room — by appointment only — is weirdly suited for these times.
In addition to everything listed above, the following protocols are also in place:
Services that are impossible to perform on masked clients have been discontinued until further notice. This includes facials and facial waxing.
After each appointment, the entire treatment room and restroom (which is also private and infrequently used) will be thoroughly sanitized using EPA-registered products proven to be effective against coronavirus.
High-touch areas in common areas (such as doorknobs) will be sanitized between clients.
Treatment room air filters have been upgraded to the highest level commercially available.
Porous supplies normally kept in the treatment room have been moved to a locked storage area that only Frankie has access to. They will be retrieved with sanitized hands immediately prior to your specific appointment.
Frankie will be wearing a non-vented mask (always), safety goggles (when appropriate), and nitrile gloves (when appropriate). She will also sanitize her shoes and change her shirt and pants between appointments (when appropriate).
In the past, I have allowed guests to be present in the treatment room during services. Currently, until further notice, only clients are allowed during their own services and there will not be an indoor waiting area available for guests. This means maximum occupancy in the treatment room is two people total (counting Frankie). It’s just you and me, baby!
Please consume food and beverages before you arrive for your appointment, as you will not be able to consume them inside my Spa. Why? Masks are required, and you can’t properly wear a mask while eating or drinking. You will receive bottled water and yummy snacks on your way out.
The candy dish has been replaced by snack bags assembled in a sanitized environment.
Facial tissue boxes have been replaced with sealed, individual packets of tissues. If you need tissues please ask.
I long for the day when COVID-19 is a distant memory, but until that day comes it’s my responsibility to do everything I can to provide a sanitary, low risk environment for my clients, my loved ones, and myself. If you have any questions please ask. Thanks for taking the time to read this, friends. I appreciate you!
